June – puffy clouds, light breezes, blue skies, green grass, warm days! The long anticipated Summer of 2018 had arrived! What better place for Lupe to kick-start the action than with a Dingo Vacation to the unspoiled beauty of the Bighorn Mountains in north central Wyoming?
And so it was! Nine glorious days of non-stop adventure! The Bighorns were close to home. Lupe returned to many favorite places, including the Giant Mushroom, Elysian Fields of Puppy Happiness, Porcupine Falls, and Bald Mountain. Of course, she got to explore many new favorites, too – towering Bucking Mule Falls, the fog swept summit of Duncum Mountain, the mysterious Garden of the Gods, and even ventured all the way to the secret Crack of Doom!
Mountains, rivers and waterfalls, wildflowers and fabulous views! Lupe scaled 2 Wyoming county prominence peaks – Dry Fork Ridge in the Bighorns, and Renner Butte, a classic western ridge beyond the Bighorn Range. The adventures kept coming right up until Lupe’s final escape from Big Pryor Mountain in Montana.
It all ended well, and with 2 more Dingo Vacations ahead of her before the fabulous summer of 2018 would be over, the Carolina Dog was off to a fantastic start!
