City\u00a0to Canyon City.\u00a0 Very nice sturdy\u00a0bridges are at each crossing.\u00a0\u00a0The bridges make it\u00a0possible to go all the way\u00a0to Canyon City and beyond to the confluence of more than 2 miles on the trail from the Silver City trailhead to Canyon City.\u00a0 There was plenty of time to enjoy the quiet solitude and snowy\u00a0scenes.<a American Dingo cave right along Deerfield Trail No. 40.\u00a0 The cave doesn&#8217;t look natural.\u00a0 It was probably excavated\u00a0in connection with some\u00a0exploratory mining dig many years ago.\u00a0 The cave only goes back 20 feet or so into the rock, but that&#8217;s plenty of room to keep a Dingo out of inclement weather.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5036\"
