A sad, commemorative family event brought Lupe on a short\u00a0three day trip back to Kabekona Lake for the first time since June, 2014.\u00a0 Two of the three days were spent barking at cows while\u00a0traveling, but Lupe did manage to get in a little R&R canoeing on\u00a0the lake on the afternoon of 10-2-16.<\/p>\n

A very surprised Carolina Dog learned that canoes can be rather unstable.\u00a0\u00a0Lupe took an unintentional plunge into Kabekona Lake while trying to leap out of the canoe onto the dock!\u00a0 Fortunately,\u00a0she remembered her dog paddling skills and made it to the shore.\u00a0 Do complete drenchings count as adventures?\u00a0 Lupe is quite certain they do!<\/p>\n
