Lupe’s first ever Dingo Vacation was her grand summer of 2012 Dingo Vacation to the West Coast.  Lanis came out from Indiana to join Lupe and SPHP on the trip.  Lupe traveled in style atop a mountain of gear, supplies, blankets and pillows in the back of Lanis’ Honda Element.<\/p>\n

Lupe had been fearful of riding in vehicles most of the first year of her life, but this trip changed everything.  She didn’t get even a little bit sick, and loved every minute of going from one adventure to the next every day!  Riding in the Element meant fun was just around the next bend!<\/p>\n

Her summer of 2012 Dingo Vacation took Lupe for the first time to Montana, Idaho, Washington & Oregon.  She went Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks (not really dog friendly!); explored high mountain trails in the Bighorn, Beartooth, and Wind River ranges; visited beautiful waterfalls, rivers and lakes.<\/p>\n

And yes, of course, Lupe did reach the Pacific Ocean along the Washington and Oregon coasts!  All together, Lupe spent 23 days exploring, running, jumping, barking and having a wonderful time in the American Northwest.  To the 1.5 year old American Dingo, it must have seemed like the fun would never end!<\/p>\n
