The summer of 2017 was Lupe’s most adventuresome yet!\u00a0 It all got off to a fantastic start in June with a 12 day Dingo Vacation to the Laramie Mountains in Wyoming and beyond.\u00a0 The American Dingo enjoyed success climbing a variety of peaks ranging from easy to challenging.<\/p>\n

Lupe reached the highest points of several smaller mountain ranges she’d never been to before including the Shirley Mountains, Green Mountains, and Charlie Brown Range.\u00a0 She stood on the highest peaks of Sweetwater and Natrona counties.\u00a0 She reached the tops of beautiful and seldom visited mountains in the Laramie Range, and one historic landmark from pioneer days.<\/p>\n

Her vacation wasn’t all one big, easy cakewalk, though.\u00a0 The Carolina Dog suffered peakbagging failures at Eagle Peak and South Sawtooth Mountain.\u00a0 She had to face dangers and hardships including high winds, threatening storms, cacti and rattlesnakes.\u00a0 Disappointment reigned when she couldn’t find any of the fabled jack squirrels.<\/p>\n

Mostly, though, it was 12 days of non-stop Dingo fun and adventure!\u00a0 Cows, horses, antelopes and squirrels to bark at.\u00a0 Long days spent sniffing, exploring and climbing.\u00a0 Beautiful sunsets, wildflowers, clear-running creeks and streams, and glorious mountains.\u00a0 Even the occasional refreshing snow bank to play on.<\/p>\n
